Class A/B CDL Driver

Glassmere Fuel Service has immediate openings for local Class A/B CDL drivers. We offer on the job training if you are unfamiliar with delivering fuel as well as a great pay and benefits package which includes a night turn differential of $2.75 per hour . Also we provide company uniforms to keep you looking sharp while working as well as a flexible 5-day schedule. Our qualification list is fairly simple. We are looking for individuals with Class A/B CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements. If you do not have the endorsements but are willing to get them that is perfectly ok too, but we do require you to have them in order to start. Fuel hauling experience is a plus but not required as you will receive on the job and ongoing training as needed. We are looking for someone with at least a minimum of 1-year driving experience, however, we also accept recent graduates from accredited schools. Your driving record must have no major moving violations in the last three years. Some computer skills are preferred to work the E-logs but you will also be trained how to use our system. However, if you are looking to go to school for your CDL A or B, we will pay your way! We can find the right school in your area for you, and many offer compressed courses as short as one month. Glassmere will even pay for you to get your Hazmat endorsement! That way you're on the road faster. Many of these programs cost in excess of $4000 and we want to pay it for you! If you finished a CDL program in the last year, we will even reimburse you! We currently have positions open for our Curtisville, Altoona, and Latrobe locations for the daylight and evening shifts. The job duties you will be expected to perform will be highlighted in more detail during the interview but the short and skinny is as follows. You will be required to adhere to federal and state DOT regulations for hours of service, pre/post trip inspections, and hazmat requirements. You will be delivering gas and diesel to gas stations, trucking companies, and other various locations that Glassmere services. There is a small amount of daily paperwork you will have to complete such as pre/post trip paperwork, daily delivery sheets and delivery slips.
